Can anyone recommend a muffler that sounds like the '06 or newer Si?
Like the thread title says, I am looking for a muffler that has a tone that is similar to the FG2 Si. I am looking for something to go on my Del Sol VTEC and I understand the B16 with a header will inherently sound different but I just want it pretty close. Would I just be better off buying a new factory Si muffler?
I want it to sound about like this Si sedan in the YouTube clip I linked below. As you can see in the description, it was an "07 civic si sedan with injen cai, dc raceheader, and stock exhaust"

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Yea, I understand. I mean my other car has a 4.0L V8, so trust me, I am aware of the difference, lol. I just bought the car with a muffler that I can't stand the sound of, and am looking at my options. I am thinking of trying a resonator with the existing muffler first, and if that doesn't work, I am gonna start swapping out mufflers.

wat?
raceheader?
I believe the OP has an r18 lx/dx/ex and not an si.

where does it say he has a raceheader? header on a b16 doesn't mean he's deleted the cat. Also, you're looking at less exhaust flow in general from a 1.6 making 160hp vs. a 2.0 making 197hp. I doubt the si muffler would be raspy, especially if he still has a cat.
is that a more appropriate response?

Ive heard an si muffler on an eg b-series and doesnt sound like a new si at all, i would say buy an oval style muffler like a vibrant streetpower style. Those dont sound too bad kind of a low deep sound.
