Wats the difference between Ebay radiator and brand name one?
I just realized today that my radiator had a hair line crack on the top part. I realized this when my car didnt start today. I already took it to my friends shop to find out the problem. Im not too sure if this radiator issue has anything to do with the car not starting, but i was thinking that since im swaping the engine next year to a B18C1 i might as well get a racing one.
Now my question is this. What is the main difference between an abay radiator compared to a brand name one? also should i be looking for a half one or longer one and get rid of the AC?
Thnks

I would stay away from 'no name' radiators or parts in general in that case. What i would do is prepare your car for the swap your going to do, to get some things out of the way so you have less to worry about when you finally swap it, such as a racing radiator. Depending on what you are gonna do to your swap will determine what size radiator you will need, and if you want AC or not. If your going to go all motor with the GSR, then id go half size cause i had an all motor C5 motor and it kept really cool (as long as you replace/lower the thermostat). Now, if turbo is your plan, then full size is what your gonna need cause all of the turbo components will create heat which will give the motor 'heat soak' and overheat alot. Along with a full size radiator with turbo, id also highly recommend an oil cooler. Hope this helps...

quality. i would just spend the extra money and do it right the first time, and not have to worry if the radiator will last till the swap. as for the half or longer one its up to you, but deff spend the extra cash you wont regret it.
good luck
