has any one tried to put rsx seats in a 88-91 crx... or wat seats fit for them ls gsr???

 

I have them in, but only 2 bolts match up, but now i'm not sure if they were worth all that i spent on them!! Since they weigh a ****** ton, i removed all the airbags and wiring but still they weigh as much as the stock seat plus a gsr leather seat combined. But i know since they are recaro made you can buy ef rails for them and they'll bolt up fine, but for just the brackets runs around 100 each!!

My friend had them in his '91 for about 2 weeks, but removed them because they just sit too damn high. The literally sit about 3-4 inches higher than stock CRX seats. It wasn't a big problem for him beacuse he's about 5'9". I'm 6'0", & I had to keep my head cocked over to fit in. Just FYI.

Yeah that is true you do sit a lot higher than stock, but i'm used to it now, but the seats are just too damn comfortable to let them go!!

You're better off getting a set of S2k seats instead IMHO. That's what I put in my Integra....they sit nice 'n' low.

its in a civuc coupe bro... not a crx or 4th gen civic.... its a 5th gen..

 

are you talking bout my post? i never said it was a 4th gen or a crx...i asked if it IS a 5th gen and what console it is....

 

yea 5th gen coupe and the console is from a rsx also wasnt hard at all, screwed off the rear part of the console where the cigratelighter is, then i just pushed the console down really hard its realy tight now, having trouble opening the cup tray and reg tray all the way, i gotta cut some metal to open the trays all the way, thats about it...

 

yeah a buddy of mine was going to do it,.. he got them to fit,.. i dont know how he is on ht sometimes i derno if he has seen this thread
