Default Suspension for a 94 ls teggy??

Just wondering what everyone is riding on because I am looking around for my 94 ls. I am thinking about Ground Control Coilovers, but not sure about the rest of the setup.
I want to be able to drop the teggy at least 2" or more considering it sits too high with stock suspension.

Im not wanting anything too expensive so any suggestions on WHY you like your setup and how much it cost would be great...
If you have pics then plz post...

i have ground control sleves on oem struts from napa ride is great just watch when you do the rears get control arms and the bolts needed from honda unless the struts were changed before because the bushings in the stock one will probably be shot

I have been searching around and the ppl i know that have Ground Control coilovers love em.
Im most likely going to get some sometime soon... just need to look into struts.
I was thinking of the Koni yellows.

Anybody have any experience with this setup or know somebody that has or does?
Im not making any decisions now, just keeping open-minded about it all for now.

the koni GC combo is not only a forum favorite. i noticed it at the last autocross day on more than a few cars. it's expensive {kind of} at $800 but it gives you tons of options on ride height and spring rate. being able to buy whatever rate you want lets a guy dial in under/oversteer to his prefrence. me? i just have tein h-techs on tokico blues. it fixes the idiotic understeer from hell rates honda used on stock GSR's & still is soft enough for street driving. no hitting your head on the sunroof like you will with 550lb springs and konis cranked when a speedbump jumps out infront of you.

HKS, they seem pretty good so far, I can turn at high speeds and it stays steady in a straight line, not sure how it will do in some rough terrain though.

Yea, i always hear that from ppl about the combo and the pricing that high... kinda gay but eh, worth it if ya got it.
I had the Tein h-techs in mind as well since i have friends that have them and theyre happy with them.
How low*height* does that setup with tein h-tech and tokico blues allow and how much you pick em up for??

the tein springs are $170 ish on ebay. probably your best bet in a lowering spring since they use what i consider to be correct spring rates for a street car. i still have to drop my motor in before i can get pics of the ride height. when i first bought my GSR i made the mistake of buying the tokico blue package. the springs are garbage. stock rates with a lowered height. you bottom out and understeer, it's like the worst of everything. the h-techs are roughly 300F and 250R i can't remember the exact but it's close, also posted on tein's site. the s-tech is 30lb or so stiffer but also lower, look into both before you make a choice. once i do an autocross day i'll be able to say for certain. however, i do expect the change from 250F and 110R to the h-tech 300F and 250R to do exactly what i want it to. make the car more neutral. i seriously should have bought koni's and GC's out the gate. i have like $500 after trying and changing stuff on a setup that isn't as good. if you just buy the blue/h-tech and shop i bet you could do it for $400-$440. it's half the price of the koni - GC combo, you just don't get the ability to use stiffer rates or adjustable height, or as good of shock. i actually have the koni sport and ground control type setup on my corvette. 770F and 500R the car is wonderful on autocross and lap day. however, you do hit your head on speed bumps if you make the mistake of not going extremely slow. imagine this big line and on one end you have full blown track gear and on the other there is a stock caddy. where you chose to be in the middle is all up to you. you can't have both worlds. with my 'teg, i just tried to stick my finger in the center.

went theses setup with in 2 months
1. KYB AGX w/ H&R sport (1.7F 1.5R drop) $450 maybe

I liked the looks of it, just wasnt that much of a fan of the comfort level, I'm super picky.. plus I hit my itr lip going up my driveway every day also the springs started sagging and its common issue w/ H&R.. If i got better shocks it would of fixed that but ooh no I got second set up

2. KYB w/ Eibach Prokit(1.3F/R drop) bought springs from my buddy for $100 included oem shocks.

I love the comfort level, but drop was ugly and it was temporary solution so i wouldnt mess up my oem lip.. that last maybe a 3weeks, than i got

3. KONI SP3 shock w/ Ground Controls and top hats I think i got them for $780
Best set up so far I love it, no complaints except my GC did freeze up on me and i couldnt adjust the spring anymore on one side, so I called GC and they are sending me replacement all 4 Allen keys and the new adjuster parts to fix my ride. GREAT service for sure!

my suggestion after spending around $1300 on suspension parts in about, dont cheap out and just go with the best set up money can buy!

OP go with the ground control/koni yellow setup. its the best bang for the buck setup you can find. you can adjust the dampning and the height. they handle very well. do go and get some cheap springs, you will regret it. and buy any suspension stuff on ebay you risk getting fake ones. i had the tein s tech springs and they are probably the worste springs i have ever owned. i would rather have stock.
