Hey guys, my windows are really hard to crank up and down. Do you guys know what I should use to lubricate the tracks. I tried lithium grease and WD40. What do you guys use.
Silicone spray. Liquid Wrench makes some good stuff in a yellow and white can.
My understanding is you don't want to use white lithium grease anywhere where it might come in contact with rubber parts.

I use shin-etsu grease from Honda, you can pick it up at http://www.handa-accessories.com

Works great for lock cylinders. I bet it'd make a mess on the window tracks though.

The tracks are the "CENTER LOWER CHANNEL" and "FRONT CHANNEL".

I usually just direct the spray (I use a tip to aim without mess) at the top of the tracks, about where these red dots are in this image.
I roll the window down and then spray the silicone spray. Then roll the window up and down a few times, roll the window back up and wipe down any mess.
