ok so my a/c compressor blew (**** was rattling like crazy inside) and i changed it... vaccumed everything and charged the system... now it gets mildly cold with the exception of the passenger vent near the door; this one vent blows super cold while the others are borderline cold. pretty much cold at night and acceptable during the day... does anybody know what would cause this and what i need to do to get my a/c back to normal?

you may have undercharged and are freezing the coil. You really needed to flush your whole system and replace the drier canister while you're at it.
Without pressure gauges your shooting in the dark.
did you add oil ?
Also drop the evaperator and clean out the leaves.

 

i used a gauge while filling the system... took it to the beginning of the yellow before i stopped... what's the difference between vaccuming and flushing the system? and yes, i did add oil.

bumpin it up.... this is something that's really bothering me. does anybody know what's wrong based on experience? or is there another place more suitable for this thread? please help
