1992 Civic VX, B16A swap. Engine will not fire, ran the codes got code 15 figured the igniter burned out , got a brand new distributor still not firing, getting the same code 15. I am getting power at the distributor , fuel pump is pumping, all fuses are good. I am lost now , searched and cant find anything related that helps. Has anyone had this issue? If so how did you fix it. Need to store car soon, due to deployment and want to have it fixed before I do.

Was it a new dizzy you installed or a used one?

It's possible that it's defective. I've seen it several times.

 

Anyone know how I can test to see if the igniter in the new distributor is working, or how to see if I am getting a signal at the distributor from the ECU. Which pin on the ECU is for the Igniter? I think the Yellow wire with Green stripe goes to the igniter but there are two on the ECU?

 

Will a P07 ECU work just to see if the ECU is at fault? P07 is the 92 VX computer.
