both of the starter and altenator are bad in my 89 crx. its a b16a and i dont know the year of it or anything but the guys at auto zone are idiots and dont know what the exact ones i need are... theyve given me two different starters already.. so if anyone knows what the exact part numbers i need it would be help ful!

 

you should be able to get the parts for a del sol vtec with the b16...they are probably giving you ones for a 99 si or 88-91 crx alternator....i think the obd2 starters are diferent from obd1 so that could be the problem...order on for a b16 del sol, take yours with you when you go to pick it up and see it it matches

 

Tell them you need an alternator for a 90-93 Integra. 99-00 Si alternators have different plugs. Or, you could use any OBD1 B-series alternator for that matter. Starter is from a 90-93 Integra as well.
