Default Having trouble with the seat compartment

Ok so heres the deal, I just bought this bike recently and the owner had no keys for the bike which was really weird. So i just order another lock set from the dealership. The ignition and gas cap is all set all i have to do is swap the the parts. But for the compartment, I have no idea how to get into or even break it. I have already tried to use picks to try to get into it, but failed. Do you guys have an idea how to get in there or know a way to break the lock other than calling the locksmith cause he quoted like 150-200 bucks for it, which is ridiculous for it.

i have no idea is it has HISS, i believe it doesnt since i dont know what it is. Basically the locksmith is local, so the price is not flexible. What i was thinking is drilling the lock to break the teeth and then turning it with a regular key

why not take any body parts off that surround the compartment and work backwards by taking off the lock from the inside? by the way, if u do this and find hidden money in the trunk, i claim it as mine as it was my idea

i locked my key in the truck of my bike, and was able to take the front seat off, and get the cable for the lock with some long reach needle nose pliers.

Take off parts until you can get the lock cylinder out. Once it's out have the cylinder coded at a locksmith to use the same key as your ignition and gas cap. Having a lock cylinder coded usually costs 20-25 bucks.
