What did I just break?
Ok so im coming home from school and i get on it hard on the on ramp then when it hits red and i start to shift it bogs like a **** and wont go over 3100 rpms. so I try to make it hope then **** starts spraying all over the winshield I thought it was oil but it turned out to be antifreeze. So I try to make it home but it starts running crappier and crappier so I turn it off and get pulled home.. I noticed my upper radiator hose got a hole in it.. but what the hell why do I have a 3k rpm limiter now? and why does it run like poop? what did i break?

No its not. There is a rev limiter for a reason.

Just disconnect battery for 30 seconds, and reconnect. If you are lucky you just got the distributor soaked, or plug wires are arcing from being soaked. Causing you to only berunning on a couple of cylinders.

I second that. I've gotten plug wires wet before, car ran like crap. Just replace the jose, dry everything off, reset the ecu and give it a go. You're not blowing smoke out the back are you?
Oh yeah disconnect the spark plug wires and stick a rag down the spark plug holes to soak up any water that might be down there. Good luck.

Try also checking inside the dizzy cap, 3 Phillip head hold it on.
If they have lots of wear, or are covered in something,
it can make it seem like you have a bad rev limiter.

That sounds like your problem. Pull off the cap, wipe it down real good, slap it back together and see what happens.

im going to assume you replaced the head gasket then... and the idle up and down problem, try pulling your iacv off and cleaning it, the screen and inside of it could be all gunked up and causing it to idle wierd.

yeah thats what a friend said he thought it was... what do you recommend cleaning it with? brake cleaner , carb cleaner, or just a good wipedown?
