clutch/tranny **help!!**...slipping bad!
ok here it is guys. i have a 94 integra rs. ive never had a clutch problem on this car although i dont know the last time it was done. out of know where earlier today i dropped into 2nd and it was slipping so bad. ive never felt it slip before. i kind of just thought ok i guess its gunna be time for a new clutch within the next few weeks. i parked the car at home and went out to pick someone out and now the slippings so bad i cant give it any amount of load i have to accelerate very slowly without it slipping. my clutch pedal also feels weird its hard for me to explain it just feels different than what my normal clutch pedal feels like. it also feels like its sitting higher than normal. it sits higher than my brake pedal. can anyone help me pinpoint this problem. theres fluid in my clutch fluid resevoir if that hepls any. anyway any help is greatly appreciated since i have no other meens of transportation other than my car.

well i just didnt see how it could just go like that. usually you get some slippage before it gets to the extent where you can barely drive the vehicle
did your throw out bearing make any noise? I've seen problems when the Bearing gets wedged on the shaft and keeps the clutch from disengaging, or the arm bends/breaks, the disc expodes or the pressure plate gave out.
Either way, a new clutch is most likely what you need
BTW: i'd also check the master and slave cylinders, the plungers could've gone bad and fluid leaks past the seals causing the clutch to not fully engage

my throw out bearing is actually pretty noisy when its in gear. awhile back it used to make a really grose noise when the clutch was disengaged then it kind of fixed itself. i guess ill pull clutch assembly and everything this week. thanks for the actual useful information. its appreciated. still up for more input
