Well I was saving up for an Integra, but it happened so that my sis got into a car accedent (didn't get hurt at all). So insurance company offered to fix her car which is an Accord, so now I have 4,000 and a free car... Although the car is in pretty bad shape it's gonna be completely fixed (I have a link to all the pics of the car after accedent) <---- if u wanna see a messed up Accord now is the time.

So now I have around 4k to work with, I'm going to go for looks first (sorta) I'm going to get a body kit, paint job, and wheels, then just go to engine then body again.... My money income is steady so I'm gonna do as much as I can....

While I was browsing body kits for an Integra a while back I stumbled onto a pic of an Accord and I liked it allot, I just saved it and didn't book mark the site... well I'm hoping to find out what kit it is (its in the URL towards the bottom, white car in album)

Any suggestions on what I should do to the car would be welcome (its only 4 cylinders and auto) so in the future when more cash is present i mite think of engine swap.... anyways im blabbering too much, suggestions plz ^_^

The link didn't work, but IMO you should either turbo your car or swap in an H22. Along with that get some coilovers, I/H/E, and some other go fast goodies. Spend your money wisely while you still have a chance. Take other peoples advice, but you have the final decision, so do what will make you happy regardless of what others say(and they will)!

Arg.... my bad, it wasan't yahooz fault, i had the folders set to private (DUHHHH) anyways it should work now. If it dosen't I'm gonna try image station.

 

Damn, they are going to fix that. Are you sure you want to drive something that's been that banged up. I had an accident that wasn't half even that bad and it cost like 8k to fix it. Anyways good luck and make sure you make them fix everything, even if you have to take it back a million times. I want to see some after pics. Find out if they are going to cut the front clip and weld a new one on.

 

Alright, I will post some after pics.
I don't know what they are doing to the car yet, I'm going Friday to check on progress and check whats wrong, I'm going to try to get them to do as much work done as possible, so I'm gonna push those guys hard.

About driving something that banged up, it's a free car, after I drive it for a while if something is wrong I'm not gonna do anything to it and just save for a new car and use this as back up.... free is always good ^_^

If that were my car, I would honestly hope they would have just totaled it... but maybe there's no frame damage?

 

Well if they are going to fix it yo need to get yoru *** in there and make sure they do it right. Also if you plan on getting a body kits and all other useless crap get in there and tell them you are doing so. You can save some money buy providing you new parts thus they do not have to waste the money on buy new parts and painting them that you are just going to take off anyway. Tell them not to buy new bumper skins, a hood, headlights, corners etc. Have them detract that from the bill and pocket the rest of the insurance money. Hopefully the shop you are woring woth is flexible.. and doesn;t give you that 'why-in the-hell-are-you-bothering-us-with-this-riceboy-****" attitude. Good luck.

 

Yeh good idea greensleeper, I called today and they said there is no frame damage, and if there was they would just give us money for the car and just trash it... they said its mostly cosmetic damage, a little bit of suspension, a new radiator, and a battery, other than that its fine (which is pretty amazing).

BTW can anyone help me identify what kind of body kit that accord has in the album? Sorta looks like its Skyline styled... but I dunno, I need some advice plz

It is pretty tore up, but if the body shop knows what they are doing then you should be fine. Although I would thing that an insurance company would total something like that rather than fix it.
