Anyone ever used them? Specifically these? I'm looking for something fairly cheap, but will still hold up under hard use. I was thinking either those or just OEM. And does anyone know if OEM are semi-metallic or organic?

got me, there was a guy selling the really good hawk HPS fronts on ebay for $48 shipped awhile back. check there to see if any other pads are on closeout. as a rule semi metalic will take more heat that organic.
