Okay, i have a problem pretty stupid one at this. i checked the starter signal fuse, along with all the other fuses, grounds are okay, and the starter is getting power. also there is like i guess almost like a speaker wire connector and i crimped that a little in so it has a tighter fight on the little metal square, if anyone follows me on that.
yesterday i replaced my starter b/c i thought my old one was going bad after i checked all of the above. it works when it wants to, works when i bang on the back of it, so i replaced it with another used starter i had, and i still have the same problem. anyone know whats going on?

You could have had the starter tested by an auto parts store to see whether or not it actually was bad.
How did you conclude it was the starter that was going bad? What happens when you turn the key and the car doesn't start? unusual sounds? smells?

I Just made like a click sound kinda like not a relay clicking or anything like an attempt for it to get power... i did test it when it was in the car and it only worked when i tapped on it with my ratchet, so i figured that was the problem but then put the new one in and i have to do the same thing..
Your used starter you put in may be bad as well, just a thought. If your battery is good and still requires being hit id say it needs a new starter. Clicking can be a common symptom of a dead battery also.

The starter may need just a simple rebuild kit. Mine was acting similar, so I bought a rebuild kit from Toyota. Honda doesn't sell it separately, so I've heard, and someone on here had the part number of the Toyota rebuild kit (both use Nippondenso starters). The how-to for replacing the parts is around here somewhere, as well.
