Removing Gauge Cluster - How To on 94 Accord
Hi,
I just had my dash resurfaced as part of an insurance claim. The body shop removed the dash to do the work. I now have a rattle right behind the gauge cluster. I would prefer to find and fix the rattle myself as this repair has already meant countless trip to this body shop.
Does anyone have a good how to on removing the gauge cluster?
Thank you for the help.

Assuming the repair shop reinstalled all the screws.
You need to to remove the center console bezel around your radio. You will find i believe1 or 2 screws above it that hold the right side of the ac/heat ducts.
You then remove all the controls from the dash and you will see screws behind the controls on the left and right side fo the steering wheel.
You then remove the 2 top screws outside the instrument cluster.
you will need to detach the hot/cold cable from under the dash right near the glove box. a plastic shield with 1 plastic button holds in it. yank the plastic cover off and remove cable.
The cluster itself is held in with 4 screws.
The center console is the main hassle if you do not remove the screw it will not pull out.
This all from memory and their could be 1 or more screws i failed to mention.
