Default Where to learn about classes

Looking for class designations, rules, definitoins, etc. I checked the SCCA sites, and they say I should buy the rule book. I dont want to buy a rule book. Anywhere else with detailed explainations? Thanks.

Those links are for autocross and solo competition.

Club racing rules are not online (that I know of).
Neither are Club or Pro Rally.

Breif overview of Club Racing classes:
Showroom Stock (SSB, SSC) - mostly stock, current model cars (5 years or newer). Allowed tires, pads, fluids, plugs, and a trunk kit (dealer option parts kit that usually has shocks, swaybar, and possibly optional wheels). SSB is Miatas, Z3s, GSRs, and others. SSC is Proteges, SOHC Neons, Civic Si, etc.

Improved Touring (subclasses ITC, ITB, ITA, ITS where C is slowest and S is fastest) - allowed more suspension tuning. Engines are limited to "rebuild" specs and some carb/fi tuning. ITS gets RX-7s, BMW 325/328, Porsche 944, Datsun Z. ITA gets CRX, some older Integras, RX-7 (carbed). ITB gets a bunch of VWs and Volvos. ITC gets some older/slower stuff.

Production (EP, FP, GP, HP) - wild engines, custom control arms, true slicks.

GT (GT1-GT5) - even more engine, tube frame, etc.
