Default carbon fiber valve cover

i bought a carbon fiber valve cover and some1 said if i use it on my daily driver the clear coat will fade and turn colors, is this true?

no one knows the answer to your question because even 1300whp 7 second civics still have the stock b series valve cover.

Anyways... the clear will be fine its UV rays from the sun that destoys clear coats

Can i ask where you got the valve cover?

I personally think they look badass, and if you got the money get it. I would if I had a v-tec head, unfortunatly I only got a B18b but I got the moroso anodized red valve cover for mine, just hasnt been installed yet due to me leaving a week after I got it in the mail for the middle east.

Can i ask where you got the valve cover?</TD></TR></TABLE> Actually if it has an autmotive clear coat, heat will dis-color it. If it is a real carbon part, there is no clear coat, and you will be fine. I doubt it is.

400 for that cover wow they can keep it.dont get me wrong its a badass looking valve cover but it aint worth 400$

yeah if it was a flawless part it would be worth 400$ but i wouldnt buy it because im not into showing off under the hood unless its to my close friends or something.

but for a showcar it would be sick
