A friend of mine has a JDM Gauge Cluster on his LS and since his car is not working at the moment, he has decided to part it out and I want his Gauge Cluster. Anyways, he told me his Odometer does not move what so ever. So I was wondering before I take it out, what are some key factors in to looking at to get it to move again? Can it be repaired?

well that depends on whats wrong with it... or if its just not compatible, usually you will have to switch the green backing with your own cluster or a compatible cluster with you car (be very careful not to damage this), or you can completely disassemble the unit itself to switch out the meters with your own. i've done both switching the meters sounds like more work but any mechanically inclined person will have no trouble with it. good luck
