Looks like the car is really coming together, and showing its true potential and speed. Congratulations Andrie.

this is the first weekend where the car running good. We're still not where we want it to be, but it shows good progress and promising pace.

The car still heavy. We're coming off the scale at 2,824 lbs after qualifying and 2,854 lbs after the race. We're over weight by about 300 lbs for H1.

Hopefully we can close the gap and get a couple more seconds by the end of the year.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

What's up Andrie... So a couple people now have told me I should revive the Turner Motorsport 325i and put it in USTCC with some weight added. Fun enough series?

Matt, you should try it sometime. With the current rule, you might not need to add any weight. According to current rule, I only need to weigh 2360 lbs. I'm currently close to 500 lbs over weight.

You're local, hit me up if you want the details.

Will do, but quickly on here... my car weighs 2800lbs with me and half tank o' fuel (7.5gal) but has 270whp. I talked to Brett and he said I have to add a bunch of weight for the class.

with 270 whp yes, you need to weigh at least 3240 lbs. That's a lot of weight to add!!!
Considering you need to run 225/45/17 unshaved tires, I don't know if it is a good idea anymore.

How about choking the motor a bit?
