Has any one replaced the noisy Michelins with a quieter tire? I was at Discount tire online and the Mich. is the most expensive.....it's on a lot of suv's factory, why is it on a sedan? the cheapest tire (falken) has the best reviews for a lot less money and one review was that he swapped the Mich's. and got a lot less noise and better handling and wet weather traction.........any one changed them yet??????

 

What of model of Falken Tires

 

I think Falken was the brand, It is the 1st tire for $113.00 when you search 225/50/17 at tires.com. I think it was a ZE-912 and is the replacement for the 905 or something like that. I wonders if some one tried something else before I buy these tomorrow, I also am getting the DRAG DR-19 wheels, that way I can sell my factory's and recoupe a lot of the money, Discount gives me a huge discount

 

Got the Falkens and new wheels today, man what a difference....still noise on tzhe worst roads but I would say 50% better overall...

You want a quieter tire than Michelin and Falken is your choice? Let us know how that goes.

 

They are about 40-50% quieter and read the reviews on handling....If someone can tell me how to post pic's I'll do that...I can't figure it out....

 

Yeah Falkens are smoother and kinda grip better then some OEM's I used those over the Bridgestones that came with my 2000 accord during the winter anytime.
