lol I am currently buying the same thing lol for my 96 GSR head aswell. you can get it from your honda dealer or Hondapartsunlimited.com it will have 2 different part numbers 1 is for the older style hydraulic piston type the other is the newer spring type. springs are a little costly here in canada, but IMO they are better and can handle more.

14820-P73-J01 This is the part# for LMA's out of a type r. They have a bigger head on them. This is what I replaced mine with in my 94 gsr when they went bad(clicking).

yes but honda was trying to phase the piston ones out I think they realized the springs where better so that is why there is now springs available for B series

Unless somebody changed them over in japan to something different, they were different. I bought a used gsr motor from Hmotorsonline, after a few weeks I traced down a clicking problem to be bad LMA"s. I bought type r from the dealer and when I changed them the size of the head was bigger than the ones I took out. Other than that they looked to be the same.

that test is showing the gsr lma vs the ITR and its the same.

my lmas are tiny compared to the gsr one and they are out of the older b16 head.
