Default anyone here use winisd?

i am having trouble with some of the parameters. my type r 12" 2ohm DVC spec sheet doesn't have some of the required specs, or i'm not exactly hip to the terms.

Z = i assume total resistance, so 2ohms wired in series is 4

PE = ?

BL = ?

Dia = cone diameter, voice coil diameter,...which one?

Thiele-Small Parameters.

And usually, diameter refers to the mounting diameter of the basket... But I could be wrong.

Z is the impedance of the coil; in your case, 4 ohms.

PE is the power handling; only used with the "max spl" tab, which I never use anyway.

BL is the motor strength; if you put in a cone area (Sd), winISD will figure out the BL.

Dia would probably be the speaker size (10 in, 12 in, etc); not used for calculations.
