Hi all, I found a great deal on a bike in Cincinnati, but being in Chicago (5 1/2 hours away) I'd like to get some kind of opinion on it prior to making the haul out there. Anyone local feel like helping a bike noob out? Beer and/or food would be rewarded for the assistance
In addition, some guidance would be appreciated: I don't have the little "M" on my license yet, so getting the bike back here might be...risky. I have a Jeep Cherokee, which could tow a trailer if I had a hitch, or could just plain haul it if I could fit the bike in the back. There's the oddest chance I'll be able to acquire a pick-up, which would solve all problems. Any other thoughts? I'm open to anyone willing to ride it back here, but I don't see anyone being that helpful to someone they don't know

I do, but I'd rather not post it publicly. I've been screwed out of a number of bikes over the past few months by someone else buying it out from under me. PM'd you the link though

It is stupid cheap. I've found a few similar in condition for similar price in that area though, so I'm not totally writing it off. I wouldn't be sending the guy any money, and wouldn't be leaving without the title. I told him where I was coming from, so...
Still, yeah, I am wary.
You understand now too why I'm hesitant to pass the link on, if the seller is unaware of the value.
