thanks for the link.
we're getting some votes, can we also get some personal experience for each bar? maybe a pic of each one?
i have the full race one and i love it. fully adjustable on the car, well made, large radius rods and pivots at both ends. very solid and smooth movement. 2 years strong with about 30,000 miles and my share of abuse

This is what I'd like to see in this thread. ^^^^
We're getting votes but no feedback.
I see a few votes for innovative; what did you guys like about them? easy install? well made? good tech suppport? Any installed pics?

This is a jk traction bar.
its a no name bar with the full race design. bang for the buck.
i have been using it for 5 months with no problems. there is a vibration at 3500 4000 rpm's but i have been playing around with tightening and loosening the radius rods and it has been getting a lot better. once i get it aligned ill post results of the vibration.

I like the innovative i heard a lot of good reviews on them. I got mine, but i haven't put it on yet, and its waaay cheaper then Full race, i paid $320 shipped for mine. I think its better then full race IMO.

I like how the innovative ones bolt on to the control arms like stock and bolt on the to the chassis in the stock location.
IMO, there should be at least 1 bolt on the stock location (like the full race bars). I'm not a fan of the (old) tradition style bars where only the tow hooks are used.

Heres some pics of the bar.

Installation of the bar was easy so anyone with any common sense could do this install in a couple of hours, its as easy as following the carefully laid out instructions. On to the install.....
First remove the tow hooks and old traction bar or crossmember depending on which you have.

Next raise the bar up to the old tow hook location and tighten finger tight. You will need some play when lining up the all of the holes so leave slack. Remember to use anti sieze.

Once the bar is in place and the bolts lined up tighten to the specs in the instructions.
Use the supplied brackets to join the traction bar to the stock crossmember mouning spot. Now your bar is attached using 8 points on the chssis.

Next lay out the hardware which is used to connect the radius rods to the LCA as per instructions.

Attach to LCA finger tight.

Next attach rod ends to radius rods with jam nuts in place.

Monster radius rods! About as thick as the drive shaft.

Attach radius rods to the LCA and traction bar, make sure to leave the same amount of thread on each side for adjustability.

Leave enough room between the jam nut and rod for adjustment.

Next I made radiator brackets to keep thins in place, you could buy the brackets avaialble @ ETD by I decided to fab my own.

Lower car off of jack stands and turn radius rods with hand until slight tension is achieved, tighten jam nuts. Its reccomended to have an alignment done after installation as you caster and toe might be a little off. In my case the car tracked straight after installation.
Thats it, all done.

I'd like to give a big shout out to John and Mike @ ETD racing for their legendary customer service and for being down to earth guys who go the extra mile for their customers.
Good job.

ive personaly have this bar and love it. love the radiator mounts for a halfsize already on it. ive had no issues out of it at all on a 300whp car this time around it should see more whp than that.
but if i ever have to buy another one id buy etd newest model i like the way its looking.
the other couple are over priced imo.

Lol, that's what I was wondering. I enjoy that jack point to much to give it up if I don't "have" to get one.

no but they look beefy as hell. but very high priced.

I like innovative because so much clearance, and it sits high. So if u have ur car slammed this is perfect. Also this bar is very beefy, and innovative sells a front mount with this bar the mount connects to the bar, and it makes it really beefy

i like the innovative setup except for the non-adjustable end of the radius rod. the etd bar is nice except for the front brackets...kind of wimpy looking if you ask me. it looks like it relies on the tow hook location more than anything.
take the best attributes of both and you have a sweet traction bar!

*The heims and radius rods were upgraded by innovative...i have the old design.*
</TD></TR></TABLE>i think the innovate bars to closley resemble the older ETD bar
which they seem to be moving away from that design but ive spoken to john at ETD and he said its not really a weaker design, he just had alot of request's for the newer design which ive changed to due to header clearence issues
old bar (Street Edition) clearence

New Bar (Race Edition) clearence

. when reading the info on the full race bars, it looks like theyve done alot of home work as far as pressure points and the alighnment of the radius bars and theyve stated the positioning of there bar is ideal for the geometry of the suspension traveling, but then again, graphs are only made to prove the graphmakers point so i try not to believe in many test that the company provides themselves. bottom line, fullrace seems to be the only ones that really gives any ryme or reason to there design but there pricing i believe was set due to them being the only real traction bar when they came out but now with all the competition, the pricing needs to drop or they wont sell. the closest thing to the full race design is the newer ETD which gets my vote, not to mention the awesome customer service!

i have the avid traction bars. the clearence for the headers is good but it hangs really low to the ground. radius rods are adjustable from both ends. got them for a good price. im gonna be looking for somthing else in the future.
