I am in need of some valve stem seals,so with that in mind and knowing I will have to remove the head I was thinking of some ways to make a little more power.
On the way so far are:
Super Tech Viton valve stem seals
Super Tech bronze valve guides
Now,I am currently using a standard MLS felpro headgasket which is the .030 thickness would going with a .019 thickness benefit me at all???
Im also going with a monster intake with a 85mm throttle body, but that will come after this is all said and done. My primary question is shaving the head 10/1000
's along with a thinner headgasket make anymore useable power compared to a stock gasket and my currently 1/1000's shave???
My current setup is pushing 212whp 136 tq
tuned on Crome
-95 b18c1 block 81.5mm bore
-Eagle H beam connecting rods
-Cp 11.5:1 high compression pistons
-All acl Bearings
-Arp head studs
-Brand new Type R oil pump
-Brand new Type R waterpump
-Brand new Type R timing belt and tensioner
-Brand new front crank seal
-Brand new main seal
-Password jdm magnetic oil drain bolt
99 B16A2 Head
-RLZ Ported and Mild Polish (shiny polishing sucks for air/fuel mixture)
-Skunk 2 stage 2 tuner cams
-SuperTech Inconel Exhaust Valves
-SuperTech Black Nitraded Intake Valves
-5 Angle Valve "Job"
-PortFlow Inner/Outer Spring Set
-PortFlow Titanium Retainers
-Manley Hardened Steel Retainers
-Golden Eagle 3 ring cam seal
-Hondata intake manifold gasket
-Stock distributor with new cap and rotor
-AEB's polished intake manifold
-Type R throttle body, injectors and all other sensors

Something does not make sense. How did you get a RLZ port and polish job and now the valves seals are worn out?
If this head has been rebuilt then the valve seals should be good.

The head was sitting for over a year after I sent it off to RLZ because school and growing up were/are more important. The motor has been assembled and in the car for about 3k miles,so as you can imagine, rubber dry roots as it is exposed to moisture and then humidity.
85mm throttle body is correct,it is massive.

As far as thinning out the head and head gasket,I am only going to do it if it will be beneficial,i doubt it will be since it will only raise my compression by .2,unless i can somehow get the compression up to about 12.1:1 in which case I will be pleased.
As for the clearence issues, that was the whole point of going with 11.5:1 dome pistons rather than 12.5:1. It give me room to play with yet doesnt do TOO much harm.
