Default 2000 accord problem with wipers

sometimes when i go to turn the wipers on with the **** instead of just pushing the lever down the wipers dont work, but it seems like if i (kick start) them with the **** turned on by pushing the lever down they will start to work... do you think the problem is in the switch or elsewhere? this only happens sometimes but i dont wanna get stuck without wipers... anyone have anything similar happen?

could be a failing wiper switch. from what your explaining sounds like a contact problem in the wiper switch.

so i've narrowed it down to being the switch, its starting to get hard to turn it... like i asked previously, do i have to remove the entire wiper control arm? is there a plug that is inside the steering column? thanks!

I'd just swap out the full arm control system. Let me see if I can find a link real fast.

BAM!

I guessed it was a sedan, but should be the same for the coupe I'd imagine.
