get a apexi noir or a apexi world sports.

i had a apexi WS2 on my accord and i could not hear it from the inside, but once i hit WOT, it roared.

i'm about to get a noir for my teg, gonna scrap the mid pipe and installing a bigger resonator on some SS pipes to connect to the apexi system.

apexi noir on GSR:

A 14 inch magnaflow sounds good. Not too loud at idle or at crusing speeds, but gets loud when you get on it.

I've owned a magnaflow 2.25" catback system. It didn't sound baaad, but it was semi-loud. Very bassy, not bumble bee ricer bassy nut, i don't know...strong.

I've heard a lot of N1 style exhausts (like APEXi), and they're loud as hell. Not fun to be in or around.

Now I own a bottleneck free 2.25" header collector back exhaust system with an ITR axelback and I am sooo happy. It sounds sweet as hell, not too loud at all, but it's nice and strong after 3k.

itr is the way to go, unless you want a bit louder exhaust like Greddy SP2 and if you could find a rsr exmag I think that's your best bet. but iits discounted!

I' musing a A'PEXi WS2 and it's literally too quiet till you open the taps. for the 400 bucks it was worth it though.

RS*R still makes exhausts.

Magnaflow with a 22" resonator sounds pretty good.

When anyone use the word "quiet" there is only one word. WS2. IMO, it's too quiet at times, that it make you think what did you just spend $500 on. If that will be you, add a header to add a bit more sound.

ws2 my buddy has that on his k20 hatch. when we drove it to the muffler shop to get it shortened (pretty much open header) that thing was loud as a **** but after wards the ride back was kinda awkward from how quite it was.

I'm also looking for a good exhaust to buy. I've been looking around, and it looks like the Apexi WS II is a good selection. Its quiet, looks semi stock, and gives you the needed air flow. A buddy of mine has one on his teg, and he likes it. I think i'm going to get it especially because i commute to work 1 hour one way, live in sac, and hate cops! good luck with the search!

you know what the cheap but high end cat back is? buy the $99 greddy DT off ebay. it's a full axle back. then order the 2-3/8" mid section that dynomax makes from summit for $119. you have a soild stainless catback for just over $200. i have this setup on my car and it actually sounds really good.
