Default question about Ostrich 2.0

If I ran the ostrich in place of the chip in my ECU would I be able to run this all the time in place of my chip? Will the Ostrich keep my map even though the laptop is not connected?

Thanks

Yes it will. The Ostrich has two (IIRC) AA batteries for it's own power source.

Ostrich1 has AA batteries, Ostrich2 has a coin style battery.
It should hold the program till the battery dies. (a really long time)
