i just ordered some parts and got a seibon mugen style lip not the spoon style in which i ordered. does anyone have the mugen style front lip on their car so i can see what it looks like and then i can decide whether or not i will want to exchange it.

FYI

Mugen never made a 98+USDM lip. The so-called "mugen style" is actually Spoon "style." Post a picture of the lip you thought you were ordering and the one you recieved. Maybe we can give some clarification on the situation.

that looks like a knockoff of the mugen lip made for 94-97 front ends

personally i dont like either for the us front, just stick with your stock itr lip, best lookin lip for the us front end

 

i have a seibon usdm front lip but when it came in was warped and chipped so they sent me the wrong replacement. i also ordered side skirts and one came in warped and i am needing to claim insurance within 24hrs and am wondering to tell them about the wrong lip sent or not. depending on how it looks.....

The top one is for the 94-97 front. The bottom is for 98+. The 98+ knock off is actually a knock off of the Mugen EG lip. So if you got the bottom one and yours is a 98+ then you got the one that fits your car.

 

my seibon **** turned yellow on my civic. that place is garbage, oem for life.

the top one is a knockoff of a 94-97 lip, but its for a 98-01 front, you can tell by the two little pieces in the middle when it goes up into the bumper

 

i received the top one. i have 24 hrs to contact them

 

Return it. Go to Son's Acura Parts and order a brand new OEM lip. It will come painted PY. Install, and be happy. You'l spend right little more, but have OEM fitment and quality. Neither of those lips offer that.
