i bought a 94 ex D16z6 with a really bad tranny i need some info on possible swaps and what is ideal for my DD. i need to replace it and SOON. i dont know if it will last a few more weeks or not. so what trannys will swap right in and bolt up? i dont want to change anything, but the tranny itself. what 96-00 trannys work? will a D15B jdm tranny work?
also, i have decided that the exhaust attracts the crowd im not trying to. im tired of street punks revving at me and cops always eying me. i have a friend with a RSX exhaust, (axle back) will this bolt up and fit our hangers? i might try it any ways and find out. i just want to use my piping with the axle back, i dont want to have to pay for new mid section. he said it fit on his DC integra, which i know for fact the GSR and Type R mufflers are swappable to EG civics, so i wonder if this will.

any '92 - '00 D-series manual transmission will work fine, but try to get one from the following vehicles: '92 - '95 EX/Si, '96 - '00 EX, JDM D15B transmission. All those are the same and geared the shortest for the best acceleration.
