hey all, i am doing a b18b1 swap to my 2000 civic EX, now the distributor plug is different on the EX harness from the SI harness, the plug is a 8 pin connector for the EX and a 10-pin for the b18 and the SI, how could i fix this problem???? now i don't have a SI harness right now or cant find one either....

 

cut and repin/solder. no way around it beside that.

you need to get the plug from a donor. the extra blue wire is for the tach and mus tbe connected to the tach wire on your drivers side strut tower. its a dead end plug.
