Default Clutch for zc tranny

My buddy is lookin into getting a zc tranny for his zc motor. What I need to know it what clutch does he need for the zc tranny. And also do you need different axels. Thanks. The car is a 88 crx si.

he needs the 88 si clutch...cuz the splines are 21..
also he needs 89 teg axles and int shaft..
he better be getting the lsd zc tranny or its not worth it..

ummm get the 86-89 teg clutch its a d16 (zc) your si axles will be fine. if you swap axles you have to swap hubs. no point

No, stock axles won't work. The bore on the differential is larger than the CRX/Civic. It has the same bore as the Integra axles. Use a ZC intermediate shaft and 90-93 Integra axles. Also the clutch depends on the year, it's the same as the US trans, the 88 ZC has the 21 spline shaft and the 89-up has the 20 spline shaft.

I thought it went this way 88 - 20 spline and 89-91 were 21 spline? ur gunna have to get the tranny, and then clutch so U can match it up, one
88 Si has 21 splines. That's from personal experience. And you need 90-93 Integra Axles as the 89 ones don't fit (that's also from personal experience when I had the ZC)
