Tach going crazy (erratic) on 95 V6 Accord

Need help on a 95 V6 Accord. After about 10 minutes running, tach goes up and down and won't stay stable. After engine is off and cooled down, works again until warmed up. Any suggestions appreciated.

sounds like you need to either replace a coil, cap or rotor

Engine runs steady while tach jumps around. While driving with tach jumping, it does has a miss every once in a while.

It could be a bad coil.

Or an electrical short, I have the same symtom right before I get a massive short that draws all power from the alternator and battery.

Thanks for the bad coil tip. Checked coil after it warmed up and the resistance was all over the ohm meter (blue wire tach terminal and coil end. Replaced coil and tach is steady.
