Default Help rex is SLOOOW

I recently replaced my timing/tension belt, waterpump, valvecover seal and the coolant temp sensor.. I took it for a drive today and its slow as hell.. i mash the peddle and the exhaust roars but i take off really slow(jerks a little, feels like it will stall, but it doesnt) then all of a sudden it starts rolling like regular(sorta, still slow).. ??!?!? my uncle did the timing, could that be it??

Also, i filled the overflow tank yesterday to the line, today i took a look at it and it was empty so i filled it to the line again. then when i got back from my little drive, there was alot of water in there(all the way to the cap!) Any help?

I'm kinda cofused so point me in the right direction. Thanks

it was blowing white smoke the first time i started it up, but yesterday and today it was normal(very little smoke)

about the overflow tank... i filled it up the 3 days ago to the MAX line.. yesterday it was empty so i filled it to the MAX line again. Today it was empty so i filled it to the max line again and took it for a 10 minute drive, when i popped the hood to check things out, i saw that the overflow tank was completely filled with water. All the way to the cap(waaaay past the max line)

oh yeah, and i checked everywhere and i see no leaks

hmm..maybe head gasket? you'll know if you go out and pull your spark plug cables and they're wet w/ coolant.

i think the same thing, the coolant has to go somewhere! so try to find where its going. and then check your timing marks to make sure the timing belt is on right..

you can go to auto zone/Pep boys and they sell a kit for about 80 bucks, its a UV fluid you add just like coolant run the car about 10 min and then you use a UV light and these glasses then you can see your leak its cool as hell!

Are you sure there are no air pockets in the cooling system? There is a little bleed valve on the water neck on the front top passenger side of the motor. With the car running let the valve open until a constant stream of coolant comes out (no bubbles).
