SHG_Mike's 2008 Fit Build Thread
Well some of you may remember my old DAP civic that I had, and had sold earlier this year. I made this move mostly for getting on with my life, new job done with school blah blah, so with less time to mess with my car I needed a car that would just turn key run with no BS issues like my other car had. I also just had an itch for something newer. So I called up a friend of mine who is a salesman at honda and bought me a 2008 SSM Fit sport, and have been slowly adding some this and that. Finally felt like post up what shes become so here ya go...
I didnt even have the PDI done (I used to work for honda, A PDI is just an excuse to drive the car and scratch it washing it)So it was a bit dirty

Brand new in the wrapper...

I got it with 000004 miles

all clean

I already had Kosei K1's waiting before I even had the car....

on the car

I then called up ben from AJ-R and got me a deal on some B52 Dampers...

the first teaser....

Got some Orasm Bulbs...

After taking my ASE tests...

I painted my headlights Gunmetal. Not a huge difference but its a classy difference in color rather then black.

Got some Kumho V710's for autox along with another set of Kosei's in white...

The lovely girlfriend got me a Garmin for our anni...

I then hacked up the stock airbox to get rid of the resonators and make it more free flowing with a 3" elbow and a Mugen filter...

Re welded back together..

My Second Auto-X

Bored at my old job...

pegasus racing. I personally havent done testing but race teams use it a lot, and the lunar lander used it to keep it burning up on orbit entry, so Im gonna guess yes it reflects most of the heat
Nice timeline. In the past I'v found a retailer who sells the gold insulation. It was in enormous lengths though and super pricey. I love the look and the fact its functional etc. Nice work!
