Default Quick question about an exhaust leak

Alright, well there's a hole in the tubing of my exhaust, simple question, is there something I can buy to patch it up? Should I get it welded? I'm hoping there's something I could buy to fix it, it's causing my car to have a fluttering sound.

Depending on where it is, have it welded.

Vatozone sells a "muffler patch" kit that includes some steel mesh and epoxy. This should fix a hole smaller than a quarter in anything after the collector, but I wouldn't trust the epoxy to hold up on a header.

I've also used JB Weld on a stock 04 Civic exhaust manifold for 3 months without issue, tiny hole though. YMMV.

Its a rather small hole, it looks like my exhaust had just dragged the ground and kinda ground a hole into it around the LCA area.

Most automotive stores carry patch kits if you want to DIY.

most of those patch kits don;t usually hold upt to vibration...maybe the heat but not vibration either way, it is just a temp fix...depending where it is you can cut it off and a small section and camp it in or simply go to a cool *** muffler shop and they'll patch it in for ya with a new peice for almost nect to nothing...hell i got my guys a case of soda
