so i just picked up this gsr strut bar, which is very good condition, for 50 bucks. my 99 si didn't come with that stock bar and all i have is an ebay bar and i don't like it.

anyways, i just picked it up thinking it will fit my si and it was like 1-3 cm too long... is that right? is gsr stock strut longer than the civic, or is something wrong here? also, since it is not that much longer, i was going to drill it just a bit so it fits. do you guys recommend it, or should i just sell it and sit and wait for a si or ctr stock strut???

i just want to know now if the gsr and the civic stock strut bar are the same. i wanna know because either the bar i got was slightly bent or somethings up with my car and i want to know now.

 

The GSR and Si strut bars are the same. Your bar is either bent or your car was in a major accident.

 

well the gsr that this bar came off of was in a bad accident... and its only off by like a cm or 2...

edit: also, my car wasn't in a major accident. im sure. maybe a little one but not major. check the frame already for bends and crumples and there are none.

 

The bar is bent most likely.

 

oh well, already drilled it slightly and fits perfect now.
