crx interior question
recently i picked up the interior out of a 91 crx. i dont know what trim level it was, but it was a nice deal ($100 for all panels and seats). now i have two question the i need help with. yes i did search, and looked through the faq.
now question number one is can i use 91 panels on a crx with pillar mounted seat belts, because i know their is a diff between the doors. if i cant then how do i repair the panels i already have
old panel

new panel

my other question was what seats are these ?? the guy said they were out of his si but i thought si seats had the whole in the center of the headrest

thank you in advance for all your help

Your really going to have to get some better pic's of the seats, and if you have the door panel already why don't you just try putting them on? I think they will work but they will have a random hole for the seat belt (that would drive me crazy).
ok cool thanks for the info about the door .. but heres a better pic of the seats if you guys can help me identify it
my friend says they they are out of a dx. what ever they are they look better and feel better then my LS seats

ok i just took the door panels off and put the new ones on and nothing matches up at all .. and the panel is about an inch shorter then the old one due to the thicker pillars on the 91's

looks like im going to have to find a way to redo the old panels

an upholstery place can probably redo your original panels in a similar material. or you could put some kind of patch on the top edge. depends on how much you want to spend.
craigslist is a good source, if you are willing to wait for the parts to surface

The problem is that your car has the (much preferred) pillar mounted seatbelts. And your "new" panels are for cars with door-mounted crappy belts.
On one side you're a lucky SOB. The down side is that its hard to get replacement parts.
A plus note is that I'm in europe and I can get you nice replacement parts. Check my sig. Maybe I can help you out.
I have a really nice set of EDM velours upholstered OEM '91 door panels.

thanks man for the info .. and nice door pannels by the way .. i would buy em off you but i dont have any power options at all, so it would look awkward with the gaps for mirror and window switches not being there.
your car is a 88 or 89 hf. you can get parts from any other 88 crx or an 89 hf. any other parts you will need to do some research.
there are a lot of differences between the 88's and 89-91's. doors are different, door glass, seat pans, instrument cluster wiring, etc.

Crx Si seats have the holes in the middle as well, and RED pin stripes IF you didnt know that already.
And those seats are outta of a dx or hf.
