I've been browsin around h-t for a while now (month or so) and I realized today that everyone here has made a convert of me. No longer do I desire a body kit, altezzas, or even rims larger than 16". I have a new plan for my little 96 HX coupe, a plan that involves carbon lips and hood, black rims, and a great number of stock parts (engine excepted of course.) The only problem I have is a severe lack of knowledge about lip spoilers and other JDM and "sleeper" goodies. Well, that and the ugly *** SF2 front, black widow sides and rear, and gen 3 altezzas that I've managed to drop a chunk of change on. Any ideas on what to do w/ it? The body kit I never installed (thank God no one saw it on my car), and the altezzas I can just take off, but where would be a good place to sell them? Posting here (I mean in h-t classifieds) would be stupid. Anyone know of any boards/sites where I might get a good audience of bAd Azz ***** I could pawn this crap off on? Any help would be greatly appreciated, since the quicker I get $ the quicker I can buy worthwhile stuff. Thanks again to everyone who has ever posted pics of their 96+ coupes; it was seeing that thread in the appearance forum that really convinced me of the stupidity of what I was doing

Don't worry, the b18b will be in by about Sept, I hope. Then I get to save for a b16 head. I still gotta figure out what to do about this stupid *** bodykit. I told my friend that I wasn't gonna put it on and he freaked out and said just gettin a lip and oem look cf hood would make my car too plain (he just got the same kit I have installed on his civic, only he has one of those hoods w/ the 2 vents and a roof scoop on it as well). I just laughed and asked the hp increase from his vents and scoops. So if anyone in jville knows someone that wants a kit for cheap, lemme know.

 

Hey Ill take the altezzas!

Just sell them on Ebay or when u see a car w/ lots of graphiks & painted interiors w/ out the altezzas just offer it to them.

at least my car won't look like a freakin plane, though. and i'm not gonna go like crazy jdm style, w/ every spoon/mugen part i can find; i'm just gonna go for a clean lookin coupe w/ a decent amount of horses under the hood. and besides, there's not that many non-rice imports here in jacksonville; seems like everywhere I go I can't drive more than 3-4 minutes before i see altezzas or a huge wing on a civic or teg. hate on me if you want, as long as i like my car i couldn't give a damn what others think. (not tryin to start a flame war, just my opinion/viewpoint)

there are also legit buys out there. although i've never bought anything from anyone under that site, friend of mine actually got a good deal on some "real" regamasters, although shipment was where they paid it off. just gotta look around. i don't think i'll be buying anything soon. now that, i retracted a bid i just won(kill me, tight on budget).
