I've seen a lot of the people on here with the factory caps to cover up the license plate bolt holes on the front bumper, my question is where can I get the actual back piece that the cap plugs into? Mine were missing when I purchased the car and have been looking for some since. Number 7 maybe?

 

Yes, they should be number 7. Make sure you have the plastic pins on the back of the bumper so they'll go onto the bumper once you get them.

A friend had none of the pins on one side where the metal bracket (number 7) had fallen off. We epoxied in a nut that was the right size so the plastic clip would have something to hold onto. It's worked since. :thumbup.

 

Awesome, yes sir I have the pins just nothing on them guess i'll be ordering those shortly....

 

Just a thought to consider before buying them; my caps didn't fit properly even with the piece you speak of. I had to super glue them anyways to make it look flush. If you don't plan on removing them for any reason I'd just glue em.

What color is your ride?!?!?

I had caps on my FBP (black) '00 CiViC, and they looked okay, didn't standout at all actually, but...

Now I'm driving a VSM (silver) '98 CiViC, and the license plate plugs look like ***, IMHO!

On a light colored car, I prefer the holes to big plastic blisters...

 

It would be a frost white del sol. I could see the problems with fitting right and considering I don't actually need them holes I'll glue them.
