Clicking noise, already changed both axles
I have been hearing a clicking sound on the passenger side of my car for a few months now. I have put off changing the axle because I was waiting for it to get worse. well, my outer tie rod end boot got ripped as well, and then my rack and pinion boot ripped, so I decided to just fix everything all at once on the passenger side. On passenger side, I replaced:
-Axle
-Outer Tie Rod end
-Pack and Pinion boot
I was sure that the click was the axle, because it gave all the known symptoms. It click on right turns, only on acceleration. If I ease up off the pedal, it does not click, but the more I press on the pedal, the more/louder it clicks. It only clicks on right turns.
When I lowered my car 1.8" in December 2007, last year, my driver side axle came apart and so I changed it, so now, both of my axles are changed. I have Eibach Sportline springs on the front only, and KYB AGX shocks. I know my bushings need to be changed, because they always squeak every time I go in a pothole, even with the old Honda shocks/springs. I have stock everything in the rear.
