third gear grinds.. what should i do??

Default third gear grinds.. what should i do??

i have a gsr engine with a 90' integra transmission..does it need to be syncronized?? any suggestions please.

start simple, with making sure the tranny fluid is good...then get youself some syncros if that fails

needs a new third gear syncro...It's quite common. Replacing the syncrho itself is super easy, but you know, digging your way down into the trans to get to it is no light matter.

Fireant is 100% correct and Syncro-mesh fluid is only a band aid to the actual problem.

for time being u can always use syncromesh but thats just till u crack open the tranny and change out the 3 gear syncros.after that i would just USE honda MTF.
