zc won't start any suggestions
i have a zc in my 88 civic. I have had the motor about 2 years now.The other day I turned it off, now it won't start. The fuel pump is priming, I just changed the fuel filter, cap and rotor are in good shape, main relay is about 6 months old and I am using a 89 teg distributor. There is no cel but the ecu is flashing 1 .It sounds like it turns over but it won't stay running. Any ideas? reg.ign coil, radio condenser? Thanks for the help.
whats it doing?
is it turning over and not starting? is the motor even turning over? If primed will it start for a short period of time?
I M if you want, willing to help

Look at what he wrote, it had been running for quite a while, then all of a sudden it wouldn't start. And his computer is throwing codes now. Find out wht codes are and the problem is solved.
The motor turns over but won't stay running. The same thing happened about 2 months ago but it was the fuel filter. This is the third dist. and I refuse to put another one in. The wiring should be fine. Should have got that B16 the first time huh. The stupid person is the one that takes his car in to get fixed anytime there is a problem. The ecu is flashin once, which is for the o2 sensor. That shouldn't make the car not start. from my experience...it sounds like its either the ignitor or the timing belt snapped! my timing belt snapped three days ago but i fixed it the same day

Your right O2 code would make it run rich, go open loop to the best of my knowledge. Heres a thought, Fuel Pump? have you been able to confirm Fuel pressure? when it stops. may work for short burst enough to start and die. Just a thought. You've been throught the Distributer and in effect the Ignitor route. check grounds. check vacume lines well. Listen to see if the pump sounds weird or is stopping.
