well first of all your car is not going to be worth in 6 months what it is worth no; it will continue to depreciate.

Jumping from a low-powered FWD to a higher powered RWD daily driving is going to be quite a change. especially if you have never owned one of those before. If you have any thought of modding those cars prepare to spend a ton more money than you would for your Acura. Expensive cars cost more to maintain.

Actually the MPG are going to drop, not sky rocket.

I think the M3 coupe will get a max of 20mpg. And who keeps their foot out of the throttle enough to get that?

Personally, if I was going to DD one I would get a 335xi coupe. 300hp twin-charged and 25mpg.

well the 200-2004 model have a gear ration on the fly change, so you can shange it to your driving style, and most BMW have the option of power out put such as 50%, 75%, and 100% all M series have this option(its a factory option not all are equipped) ....

6 months won't do jack to the value of a nearly 10-year old vehicle. If he could get $4000-$5000 for it now, he can probably get the same 6 months from now. Also, spending about $250 on an expert complete interior/exterior detail job can many times bring in an extra $1000 or so on the sale, if the detail can bring the car up to better-than-new appearance (which I have seen done many times by a local guy).

The biggest change here is going to be cost of ownership. An M3 especially is going to cost more to maintain, cost more to repair, and no doubt won't be as reliable as a Honda. Insurance will be higher, fuel costs will be higher, modifications will cost more, etc. If you're not 100% sure you can afford it, and you really want a newer car, then you'd probably be better off going with a newer Honda or Acura... maybe a TSX or something.

reliability of a BMW is soo much more superior than an honda if maintained correctly, honda doesnt give you free coffe or donuts or snacks while your cars is in the shop like bmw does...hhahah cost is more expensive to maintian but you get a tech that is 200% better and nicer than a guy at goodyear or at the honda place IMO, all my work for my integra gets done by a head tech at feilds bmw-hes a good friend of mine...

No. Honda Motor Company is widely known as the most reliable car maker in the world.

ah hahhahhhahahahaa do you really think a newer M3 could go 300K+ miles on ALL original engine internals AND transmission internals, with NEVER having to pull the engine head(s) at all?

Keep grabbing your free coffee and donuts. They are free for a reason (because their reliability is far from "superior"). They have to offer junk food in order to keep their spoiled unhappy customers fat and happy, otherwise BMW would have even more complaints up the yin yang regarding their reliability.

I love BMW's but your ignorance earns you a

So why is there a thread here in the Integra Tech forum asking about what new car OTHER than the Integra to get AFTER the OP's Integra is sold?

a buddy of mine just picked up a g35 with the brembo package for a really good price (he went from a 2000 Prelude SH and his insurance dropped a good amount going to a G35). i love the car, very smooth and great torque. M3s in my opinion are some what over priced but still a nice car. if it were me i would get a G35. just my two cents.

I know from personal experience that the G's get shitty mileage....Insurance isn't hateful......But, if you wanna mod it, your kinda limited and most "Nice" mods are pricey.
On the other hand, theres nothing cheap about a BMW
