Default Clutch slipping need comformation

Okay so today I took the civic out and the rpm was staying higher than usual when I shift, then it got worst. I had to baby the **** out of it just to get it to move. When I gave it gas it wouldnt go anywhere, but the rpm was going up. The pressure plate is still very firm so Im thinking its the clutch disc. Just need conformation before I attempt anything. thanks

That definately sounds like a slipping clutch, get a new clutch kit, replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing and throwout bearing. Either have the flywheel resurfaced or replaced.

Personally i'd just replace all of it, its really not gonna cost you that much more. You might get away with it, really depends on if it got warped from being heated up when the clutch was slipping.
