Its all about the research you do... personally I like building on a budget so I search for **** I can afford!! apexi is not bad. I wouldnt go with OZ rims though. they are everywhere. when building a HONDA its good to be unique and new!!

I like Apexi but I also really liked my Invidia exhaust I had on the 96 Accord. Until a ticket was given out for it that was. I wasn't the one driving it at the time but the person driving it got a ticket so I put the stock one back on and just have the Invidia for a spare in the basement. It was all stainless not just the muffler like on the Apexi WS2's however it was a very loud exhaust. It wasn't too bad with the silencer in but still a little loud just had a sound like it had a leak with the silencer in. With the silencer out I thought it sounded good but it was super loud. Overall seemed to be a nice quality exhaust at a nice price though.

For an intake I run a K&N on the 96. Although it's been said to just get one off eBay for cheap and put a K&N filter on it and it will be just as good.

I have a Nopi branded #1 or whatever strut bar. Those are some fairly cheap upgrades you can do. Another thing you can do is the stereo. Won't get you more power but will make riding in it more enjoyable.

I ran 18" Limited Alloy wheels with Toyo tires that I thought looked awesome until I hit a pot hole a week after I put them on and 2 of them broke. One split apart the other cracked around it so it wouldn't hold air.

I like the Konig Unkowns a lot. These were basically a copy of those. I thought about getting a set of those since I can't find 2 more Limited Alloys which I've heard bad things about anyway but I just can't see spending that money for something I hardly ever drive.
