Default 94-97 power folding mirror

this may be just a dumb question but I've seen sellers on ebay selling the power folding mirrors with relays and switches. my question is, is it necessary to use their relay or can we use the stock relay for the mirrors from the American accord? thanks guys.

Im pretty sure you have to use theirs because your switching from just power adjusting mirrors to completely power mirrors. Another relay is needed. Im thinking about buying some myself though..

The USDM mirrors don't have the relay the JDM ones have as they do not fold in and have no need for it. The switch is the same size, but the relay is needed for the folding option. Might be able to use another relay, but not sure what kind.

There is no other relay to use besides the one they provide. Make sure the set you get has the relay with it because separately it will cost you in the $50 range. Also remember that their ability to fold and unfold is quite trivial but when you have them in you might want to remember that in the country's cars they come off of, the mirrors are in opposite.

My point is that your passenger mirror in your car is slightly angled, once installed, your JDM mirror on the driver side will have that angle because they sit on the other side of the car.
