Default 98 gsr ?

Is a 98 GSR worth 7500? Its a Super Sonic Blue Pearl and with 87,000 miles. The car includes 8k Hids, jdm fog lights, type r lip and wing, header and cold air, coilovers with tein springs, powder coated blades, Act stage 1 clutch, and chamber adjusters on all 4 corners. The car is in excellent condition. i need a quick answer because i might be picking up the car in the mourning.

Just for reference, I bought my 97 gsr with 57k miles 2 years ago for $4k with intake, header, exhaust, full leather, and custom red paint, clean as hell body and interior.
I would offer them $6k if the motor, tranny, etc is also in good condition, and see if you can get them down to at least $7K. Aftermarket mods usually don't add value to a car.

SSBP i own one :D It's kinda a rare color. only made in 98-99 gsr models. They tend to sell for more than normal gsr's because of the color iteself. I have seen the ssbp sell for more though, so i would def. say go for it. The color is great.

if I see one that color here in NY/CT/NJ area is very rare so location of the car raises the value.
but just think about it will be a thief magnet, cause its a given thats a gsr.
hope your neighborhood is clean...

Go for it, there's a clean 99 in Jersey City for 10k. $7500 is a good deal, buy it and keep it clean.

What should the compression tester read for that GS-R?

I own an LS so I'm not sure.

Keep pretending like the owner never beat on that car. For $7500 you can get something else and have money for a swap if you want.

Its not a bad deal, im sure it looks sweet! its got low miles and a nice rare color and just two basic engine mods, I got my 98" gsr bone stock with 148,000 miles from a old fat guy in L.A for $6,000 flat only had a cracked widshield. now 2 years later its fully built you can find a stock one its always better then you know it wasnt moded to be beat on, but i say go for it, is the wing and lip color matched?

Just because the mods are basic doesn't mean it wasn't beat on. My car is for the most part stock and I beat the **** out of it every day.

an eg with a swap isn't for everybody. some people don't want to rip the engine out.

i'd say $7.5k is a pretty fair price. post pics
