i have a 1993 civic auto and i want to do a valve adjustment and check the timing i wanted to know what the adjustment for the valves are and also when setting the timing belts do i need to do anything with wires for the ecu to be reset or something like that i just heard about that dont know.

Disconnect your batery to reset the ECU.
