i have a 02 si i would like to do a type r lsd but want to know if it wold fit ??

yes it fits just fine and fandangly (if that's a word). I had one and put it in with a friend, straight from over the pond but it was in an 03 typeS. OR... you can buy the 06+ SI lsd and put it in, my thoughts is the typeR LSD and the 06+ SI LSD are identical or just about, but these are only my thoughts. I'm pretty sure both are almost identical BUT i do know both fit all K trans (k20a, k20a2 k20a3, k20z1, k20z3 retrospect)
